Concept of Planning

In defining the term planning (also known as planning or planning), we could say what happens when looking for a particular target. Is to have one or more objectives in mind that carry out including as well all the necessary actions to achieve it.

At the same time, it is an administrative situation that includes a situation analysis, the determination of which are the objectives and carrying out strategies that could meet its objectives.

To make a good planning, we must bear in mind where we are to where we want to go and what actions will do to achieve it.
Stages of the planning

Since in the majority of cases the planning is a process, we can identify several stages included in this. First of all, must identify the problem to develop possible alternatives.

Then the option that is most convenient and easy to perform will be chosen to start the implementation of the plan. Some issues that tend to be taken into account when we say which alternative to choose are external influence that may affect the planning and resources are available.

Of course, we can apply a planning in various aspects of our lives. So different that each one in particular possesses special characteristics which depend on each context in particular.

I.e., a planning of a family about what to do the weekend will not be same as that is required for a company to be able to launch a new product.
Types of planning

There are different ways of classifying this term, then provide as only some examples:

1. Strategic planning: is carried out by the persons in charge of a company. It aims to analyze both internal and external factors and what impact have these objectives and that company.

This type of planning tend to be long-term and often, in turn, produce a detailed inset on the market design, communications that engage and you shall enter into with media and advertising campaigns.

2. Tactical planning: as opposed to strategic planning, these tend to be short term in situations where, for example, cause an unexpected crisis and have to find the solution immediately.

While they are decisions of unplanned, they should always respect the strategic plan which it was decided to continue from the beginning.
3. Operational planning: are those plans being made to organize resources and personnel of a company.

Evaluates the plan of action and what kind of relationship will have different departments between them to control the development of tasks in the time that stipulates it is.

4. Normative planning: are those norms or rules that are created in order to establish order and the proper functioning of a company.

Some examples may be what type of attire used employees, what will be the hours of work shall comply with and when they breaks that apply. To achieve an environment where work in an orderly fashion, it should be all previously written and clear.

5. interactive planning: in those companies where engaged in making technological products, are due to trace possible solutions to problems that may occur in the future, in turn, must plan the path that must travel to reach it.
